Kezia was written a lot better. While these guys are capable of some good music (they're obviously capable of making some technical good sounding music at times as shown on this), this album just bores me. There's way too much going on that it sounds out of place.
These guys could make a really really good album, that's why I'll follow what they did but Fortress didn't do it for me. 1.5 is a bit harsh, I'll change it to 2.5. It's not terrible.

I feel the same way, the only thing keeping me from rating this higher than Kezia is the guitar acrobatics, tedious is the right word to describe it. Still an incredible album.

Album is outstanding...the guitar "acrobatics" are awesome but they do get a bit overdone at points...Goddess Bound is probably my least favorite on the album tbh...omg that's the first time I've agreed with kattun...I feel icky...
