Dylan to be fair I have a bit more of a shoegaze background than I'm pretty sure you did when checking this out so I thought this would be a bit more immediate but I'm sure it'll grow on me soon enough, I try never to be too harsh on an album after one listen and in general for me this kind of floaty dreamy stuff takes longer to settle in than a lot of other genres do.

well it's kind of a exaggeration lol. After being floored by the beginning of Alison though and being aware of this albums critical acclaim, i just instinctively felt like this album was gonna click with me.
