Pretty sure Human and TSOP had fretless too...at least Scott Clend used a fretless bass live and in the demos. ITP is just the only late era Death album with such prominent and high bass mix.

he used a fretted 4001 on human and pretty sure scott never used a fretless did he? he always simplified the shit out of steves lines just just did runs like any dude with a fretted would do
