Setlist was slightly dissappointing at the gig I was at last week. Second set had three songs from pale communion and nothing from the first three albums
I wasn't happy with the mix and sound of most of the metal stuff either, although I don't know whether that was due to the acoustics of the concert hall (which apparently are considered bad particularly when it comes to heavy stuff), the mixer, the band or the fact that I'm no metul veteran, and I don't really know what to expect. "I feel the dark" was probably the performance of the night, and I'm not even very fond of heritage
Åkerfeldt's cleans were for the most part very good. The growls were buried in the mix, but from what I could tell the mid range screams were fire, while the deep stuff had that watery sound, although not to the extent that it really was a problem
