yeah I should probably call it my list of favorite metal albums, because you just can't compare CCR, Ornette Coleman, a smattering of classical, and, say, Ulcerate. I've got the non-metal stuff in an unranked list. Mastodon is heading dangerously close to unranked territory :P

For real the first 6 songs on this album are just fucking beautiful, including Stargasm. But the whole album

is beautiful from start to finish. I can't keep myself from listening to this every few days, it's like

cocaine. I feel if I forced myself not to listen for like 3 months, the next listen I'd rate 5 due to the

dopamine build up.
