Nah, TGA is the current university enrolled Engineering student with a decent part time job and an on and off girlfriend, he's got well groomed facial hair and wears Abercrombie
while TA is the community college enrolled Lit major that spends his weekends going shooting and getting shitfaced, has a gnar beard and wears stuff from the army supply store and Goodwill
I tried

have any of you guys ever seen TA live?
outside of jersey, they're still NOBODIES, which you think would be cool, but it also kinda sucks cause people at shows are like "who the fuck are these guys" and they stand there looking dumbfounded with their arms crossed across their chest.

According to the Rev's working definition, it sounds like I - and possibly a great deal of Sputnikers - are unwillingly physical manifestations of The Gaslight Anthem's sound with the not-so-unconscious mindset of Titus Andronicus'.
I, too, tried.

Funny thing, I based the TA description off of myself, minus the beard and army jackets
=/
And I should have seen them last month, but my friend who works at the venue forgot to tell me, and then gets his
picture with Patrick to spite me

as in the city?
I'm from Buffalo, I've seen them once here and twice down in Pittsburgh.
Two of the times I was the ONLY one there who was familiar with them, and the other time I was with my buddy who loves them and we were the only two haha

when I saw them it was at this little club, about 50-100 people were there, it seemed like 25-50 of us were crazy for them

I'm from Long Island and I've talked to a bunch of people who really love them. They had a huge concert in the city where they played The Monitor on St. Patty's day.

two of the times they were openers, the other time they were the main band.
it was cool that time cause it was this show they set up like 4 days in advance in a gym at the Carnegie Mellon campus, and I heard about it at the LAST minute and ran over there and in an hour went from sitting at my desk doing differential equations to hanging out with patrick:

Stickles was standing in the crowd during the opening acts but he looked really serious like he was getting mentally prepared or something, so I was scared to talk to him
but he seems really nice

Funny he was doing the exact same thing when Future Islands was playing before them on the Okkervil River tour. guess you just gotta psyche your self up to go out their and shred the fuck out of your guitar and wear the fuck out of your vocal chords haha
