First of all, this is not an incomplete album. Abrupt is not a synonym for incomplete, it is a style that they deliberately employed on tracks like Vices, At The Bottom, Gasoline, etc. and it is a very consistent and thoroughly applied technique. Their approach to constructing the album atmosphere was unwavering, just as it was on all of their prior records.



TDAG is an incomplete album by Jesse's own admission. If Daisy isn't your favorite Brand New album, just say so. But don't throw adjectives out there that make no sense. For instance, In Rainbows is my least favorite Radiohead album, but I'm not going to say that it "lacks focus" or make some other benign as hell statement with no backing whatsoever.
