I got a good friend to listen to this and he really liked it. Always feels great when friends vibe to a band that is dear to me

I haven't listened to this in some time, but I revisited it on its 15th anniversary. Yep. Still my favorite album ever.

Yeah let’s talk about Syndic Calls. IMO, the underrated track on the album. Shame it didn’t get played live often (there’s only one video on YT of that song live) even during the Panopticon era.
That opening reverb/delay baseline...I remember when I bought the same RV-3 pedal that the band (primarily Caxide) used, the first thing I did when I plugged it in was play that bassline over and over again. That pedal pretty much gave most of his Caxide’s tone.

Hall Of The Dead into Ghost Key into Hand Of The Host
That is my favorite 3 track run ever. Cool that both of ours Isis.

That could very well be my second favorite 3 track Isis run, teamster.
I know on CD & digital it’s a segue way between Hand of The Host & Stones To Wake A Serpent but if I was spinning it on vinyl, I think of the title track as being the outro for Hand Of The Host as it fades out at the end of Side B.
