“I feel better at 33 than I ever did in my 20s”
hard [2] but admittedly that’s because i started playing tennis regularly, lost ~20 lbs, made some changes to my diet and stopped smoking weed

"stopped smoking weed"
I feel like this is the next big hurdle I need to take to improve my life. This modern weed is just anxiety fuel I swear. Honestly I feel better at 28 than I ever did in my early 20's that's for sure. It really does get better but you have to be the one to make it happen. Exercise, eating better, spending time with friends and of course being involved with music is the best remedy for all of life's bullshit. And of course reducing social media/screentime to an absolute minimum. If it wasn't for this place and YouTube I'd pretty much be off the grid.

everything feels weird and dystopian now

I still game but it is a massive time waste. I quit online multi-player games before the pandemic and I feel like that's done wonders for my mental health lol

I gotta start going again dude. Was never happier than after a good workout.
Easy to get lazy and unmotivated tho that's always been a problem for me. The weed doesn't help

yesss nash. honestly changed my life. it’s like an exercise cheat code because it doesn’t feel like exercise, and you meet a ton of people. now i get like mildly sad on days i’m not on the court lol
and yeah jay that’s exactly why i quit smoking. it made me content with doing nothing and eventually it just led to constant anxiety. i wish i had some advice for quitting. maybe just slowly ween off? habits don’t change overnight. i can at least confirm you’ll feel wayyy better once you do tho. booze too
