Just got my vinyl delivered today, so I'm gonna tear into the book that comes with it. This was probably said before but it's cool that this album only needed a thousand bucks to be made apparently and that's including the packaging and printing of the album too.

how is this still even a discussion when literally all that ever happens is Jamie, tree or ryus saying "the unnatural world is better" and someone else says "nope" and neither side bothers actually trying to explain their point so its just useless

most likely actually. The unnatural world did not involve me as much. Deathconsciousness is a sonic adventure, plus I read the booklet and the concept fully got me, you can see how the author was depressed and that influenced his work on creating a whole fictious nihilistic author and stories inspired. it's just so well crafted

i dont think ive ever said that in this thread before but
a lot of this fails to capture my interest. its really unfortunate how long this is since like half of it is really good but the other half makes me not ever want to listen to this again. since i dont find the songwriting all that interesting the repetition just turns me off completely. i appreciate what they were trying to do but the unnatural world benefits from its suffocating atmosphere coupled with consistently smart songwriting. and it also has their best song, burial society :]
