Pleb has 2 Sabbath and 3 Megadeth albums rated at 5 but yet somehow SW is a shite vocalist?

Sense, this makes none.

I don't mind his singing either but the lyrics can get so cheesy it almost seems like a joke

and Danny if you don't like the song writing, singing AND lyrics of an artist who gets a lot of praise, it would eventually instigate a reason to voice your bashings, would it not?

I mean alright, so the dude doesn't sing that great; and he ain't the best songwriter or lyricist ever. Why the hate?

Because there are pretty much no other redeeming qualities in later era PT. I think it's perfectly acceptable to dislike an artist for those reasons when there's nothing to make up for them. And it's not that Wilson "isn't the best lyricist ever", he's actually really fucking bad at times and sometimes seems like one of the worst ever.

@Space: maybe dude, but generally speaking I tend to bash artists for other reasons. All those 3 things are really complimentary to me, rather than indispensable.

In my opinion, the songwriting makes up for any shortcomings in PT's work. And I understand JT's dislike of the later works of the band, but Pleb seems to have an almost irrational level of dislike for much of Steven's work.

'So basically pleb bashes almost every single thing by Steven Wilson, which still baffles me greatly'

Dude, I dig his early stuff you twonk. Musically, the more psychy PT is amaze, but Wilson's vox have always been bland as fook.

@Rowan I don't psyche or prog nearly enough to be JT dude, PT fans are the most butthurt shithouses in the world jeepers creepers!
