anyway, I got a CD of this the other day cos my local library was getting rid of loads of their CDs so they gave it to me for free o/

Just spent an hour playing "Hysteria" over and over again on bass. SO FUN!

I didn';t rate this higher than a four because of the amount of unnecessary tracks they had on this album (I.e. 'Fillers'), including the two extremely short interludes(Interlude and Intro...) and, believe it or not, 'Butterflies and Hurricanes, which, although not really a filler as such, didn't really impress me. Thats probably because of the outstanding tracks that were on the album before. Needless to say however, none of the magic had been lost up to this point in muse's career i thought. On the whole, pretty good, although slightly less impressive than the two albums released before.

The previous is my favourite however Absolution is close second. Amazing album filled with excellent songs like Apocalypse Please, Time Is Running Out, Sing for Absolution, Stockholm Syndrome and specially Hysteria, probably their heaviest song.

this does get pretty wearing after about 20 minutes, i find it hard to listen all the way through

when i saw them at wembely they played interlude and it was probably the best song they played. the bassist did something with a harmonica which was amazing, part 1 of their symphony was epic and knights of cydonia was crazy.

shame the fucking crowd was awful.
