Album Rating: 4.5 | Sound Off

Mike's appearance on the new Phoebe Bridgers record made me return here after a brief hiatus. Like her record, I was quickly reminded of how drenched in humanity this thing is which made me like it so much in the first place. Both albums will age awkwardly because of their insular, singular emotions, but they're brilliant for it.

My meaning being not knocking the diversity of composition or lyrics, but they both are designed to capture a singularly slippery emotional state that (hopefully) won't always be permanent, but pertinent.
