been so obsessed with voidward. if they repeated the refrain ONE MORE TIME preferably in addition to the outro song would've been perf

There's absolutely nothing in their recent catalog that hits quite like Behind the Clock.

Clock is definitely one of their all time best songs.

Clock, Holy Visions, Voidward and Nooneunderground are top tier AFI for me

Damn man I like this way more than I thought I would. I haven't fucked with anything since Decemberunderground. Didn't even check the last release.

I'm vibing with this quite a bit.

if anyone has skipped out for that long, Burials is a must check. when I did my discog relisten before this dropped it was what I was feeling the most. (granted CL and some others were listened to while dozing off in transit, but still)

What kind of AFI is Burials? I'm generally a fan of the more aggressive stuff (Affliction, Leaving Song etc), and the transcendent stuff like Girl's Not Grey and Love Like Winter obviously.

easily their darkest. it shows their first real signs of post-punk influence but there's industrial, emo, post-hardcore, etc. 17 Crimes and A Deep Slow Panic are definitely the transcendent singles vibes you are looking for. for me it was a grower but now it's in my top 5

For those who haven’t, if you want more gems off your favorite releases, here’s a B-Side thread. May have to go to YouTube though since a lot of these aren’t on streaming:

https://www.reddit.com/r/AFireInside/comments/5sn3p3/is_there_a_complete_b_sides_list/

The STS, DU and CL b-sides are stronger than some of the actual album tracks

I've not given AFI much time at all ever, just never clicked for me, but this album in one of my faves of the year.
