Was wondering where that rating was Grey haha. Respect for trying to keep the hype train rolling, this place is just dying in general unfortunately.
Yeah no way this is leaving my rotation any time soon, especially with fall just around the corner. Can't imagine not resonating with the highlights on here, Environmental especially.

was trying to think of an excuse to 5 it but I just can't, but make no mistake, I-III is definitely a 5 on its own.
Fall is when Wildlife hits the hardest, excited for this to join it

Agreed. It’s pretty difficult to rank this, Panorama and Wildlife but these three are definitely their best. I think Wildlife has higher highs than Panorama, but Panorama is more consistent for me. This kind of represents both of those qualities and certainly has the potential to be their best, but I think I need more time and listens to decide.

I definitely haven’t moved on yet, just got busy and haven’t been on here or listened as much as I’d like. Plus still been spinning Private Music quite a bit, but I’m gonna definitely gonna dive in deeper in this very soon

Environmental Catastrophe Film is one of the best songs I've heard in the genre.
Album is immense.

It's like they climbed into my head and made an album about how I feel as a 30 something now with kids. It's a shit show out here in this modern world, and it's incredible how beautifully it's out to words here. I've been a diehard since '08 and this surpasses Vega and Altair in every way. This one will stick with me for the next 17 years, now, in their debut's place.
The lyrics in particular are the toppest of top notch. The whole band is top form right now imo.

This album creates a portal to a bridge where the band meet their former self but also showing the will to move on to a new terittory. They seem so confident and unafraid to explore their sound and stretch it that is stunning. Man with hands, Enviromental, the field, Steve and all the run from Saturation Diver till the end are career highlights. One of the AOTY for me in a year, and a period, where so many other great records emerged.

Hawks doing the Lords work in this thread. Back half brings down the front half. Worse than rooms and pano. Hopeful for what they do next though.

some people are really digging Saturation Diver, i wish i heard it. maybe my least fave LP La Dispute song because (and as i will continue to say) it just ends so abruptly. I do like what's there though but not enough to feel content with it's run time.
i love Panorama but god, I heavily prefer this sound for them. it sounds so much more natural given their prior works and considering they considered this album easier to write, it's no wonder.
