You better say that under every single review on this website
I’m only going to say it to you since you’re that type of armchair music fan

footstool is what I get when I kick ass

lol I’ve never heard of an “armchair” music fan, only in a sport-related sense
the role-playing being Turnstile thing was a cute moment tho I guess

Only a problem when we explicitly say what we wished a band in a had done in a specific moment I guess

Imagine Turnstile headlining a sports arena and you can't get through the turnstiles

There’s a local band around here called No Cover
and venues still gotta charge

I would enjoy this and Glow On a lot more of his cadence wasn’t so goddamn annoying.

the movie itself is actually pretty cool and goes well with the album. but as a pure listening experience it's kinda boring. the only cool songs on their own are NEVER ENOUGH, SOLE, and BIRDS

don't get the hype for this band whatsoever

I went from not caring about this band to caring a good amount for Time & Space, then right back to nothing for Glow On. The vibes of what I have seen written about this are not bringing me back I must say.

After time to check it out a little I can check in with thoughts. I LOVED Glow On but I keep asking myself where the sweet riffs are on this. Did the guitarist leaving really effect things that much? Never Enough seems pretty good. Some nice melodies, synths and of course drumming but for me I think the riffs are lacking. SLOWDIVE is kinda there but it's almost a Sabbath ripoff. Maybe more listens will help over time.

“Did the guitarist leaving really affect things that much?“
Yes. He wrote most of the riffs since the band’s inception
