SVOS was way better than City Burials imo, though I still think The Fall of Hearts is the peak of modern Katatonia (and the peak of their whole discog, for that matter)

City Burials, the one before that, and the one before that are super dope. I only heard SVOS once, and without headphones. I of course will be revisiting it

The Fall of Hearts took a couple listens, but once it cicked. oh boy. Front to back it is an amazing album. Easily one of my favorites of theirs

Their whole discography is strong and consistent. I am unsure how City Burials is looked at negatively. Still had good lyrics, his voice was incredible, music was good. Great choruses as well. Whether I am in the minority or not, the albums is fantastic IMO

Dead End Kings is also extremely enjoyable. I love that one front to back too
