“am I a LITTLE disappointed we didnt get a CDB country song? Maybe.”

This is everything I liked about Celebrity Therapist, but fleshed out and fully realised in a similar stylistic vein to the EP.

The DGD cleans just aren't my fav.

Only 2 tracks left on my first listen, this fuckin goes hard. Recency bias aside I’m pretty certain I like this more than the previous LP

This feels way more dynamic and punchy. At least to me

Dude this goes so fucking hard, not done with the first listen yet but I like this more than their last album so far
Damn, between this and Kardashev I'm having a great week

I do not see the ETiD comp at all lol. TDEP definitely, but then again you can say that about almost any mathcore

Body Horror for Birds is actually fantastic cause it's focused and spends the whole song building up one vibe.

This is 100% going to be VERY high on my end of the year best albums of 2025. I actually like this significantly more than their last one tbh
Holy fuck dude
And yeah I see the Dillinger comparisons for sure, much more than ETID.

"A painful band to listen to. Shaggy scooby doo whiny vocals chaotic mathcore instrumentals. Truly like nails on a chalkboard. The attempts at some catchiness aren't able to sell me whatsoever, but nice try I guess."

Finished. One last thought- Doesn’t feel like there’s any fat on this hour long runtime. Really appreciating the length when compared to Celebrity Therapist

I know it's only May but I'll be shocked if anything tops this for me this year

I think ETID and Dillinger are both better bands, tbh. But a Dillinger comparison is probably closer. Still, Dillinger have a way more sophisticated riffing style to me, clean from a lot of modern metalcore-isms that this is rife with. And Greg's vocal style is more my thing. He always came across more Mike Patton and less mallcore.

Didn't care for their prior works, but this was pretty enjoyable. Really dig the Dillingerisms, even if it's a bit overlong and clunky at times.

I probably agree that Dillinger is a bit better but I'd take these guys over ETID at this point. I love all 3 bands. Can't stop jamming this.

I don’t care to compare them to either of those bands in general yet because they have such massive discographies. We’re only on the 2nd LP with these guys

Oh yeah if we're comparing, Dillinger is one of my favorite bands of all time so I like them more than these guys
But this album is fucking bonkers and by far my favorite thing they've done so far

I think their core-ness and their wackiness and melody being so rooted in the 2000s "scene" is what makes this band click way better for me personally than TDEP ever did.
