why is it that every opinion venin has is based upon some imagined scenario like "pantera bullies stuffing someone in a locker" or "nirvana fans screaming at you to name three songs"

ok there absolutely have been situations like that in the real world, at the very least bad enough to where the former used to be a semi common theme in music videos and the latter is especially a discourse when pop artists wear metal/rock shirts - the bands themselves aren't the point, it's the behavior of certain insane fanbases, when Bieber wore a Metallica shirt, the fans said him mentioning Fade to Black and One wasn't good enough, because those songs are too popular and accessible or whatever. I'm no fan of JB but let him like Metallica you dorks
