I just saw they are opening on the Knocked Loose tour. This sounds specifically like it's written to suit that tour and try and pull more fans. Nothing wrong with that of course, they are a good band. It's done well for what it is, a chug fest where some parts sound exactly like Knocked Loose. Probably not much replay value though, after producing one of the best metalcore albums of the last 20 years in A Eulogy For Those Still Here, this is pretty boring.

i can see this release working for other people and think it was the right time for them to mix it up so i can respect it even if its not my thing, but i j dont really *feel* it, and thats where my pull to these guys are

People comparing this to End (obviously) but I already dig this way more than anything that band has done lol.

It's low replay value imo, but I'm not worried. They got a few more bangers to add to their live sets which will make Brendan happy and I expect more of the usual feels on the next LP.

According to Brendan twitter it's the first record he did while being sober. Imagine getting angrier without the booze.
