Is it just me or when I listen to this album through a pair of headphones it sounds great? Like I am not trying to be a dick or anything and I am far from an audiophile but I can pick out the arrangements and background melodies and enhancements quite nicely even when the drums are bashing all to hell. I am a fan of the wall of sound overall and I think that more listens will bring out even more of what is going on here. Obviously I am skeptical of the "500 tracks" situation he claims.... like "I didn't hear the oboe at second 37 of Storm, silly me" but I think this all gels nicely

All of this guy's talk about the mixing/production of this album makes me not want to give a single shit about the production and just focus on whether or not the songs are good. Gonna give it a spin sometime this week, but I've honestly never really understood the insane hype for this band. The debut was fine.
