This is clearly better than Brat musically. It may not be the "cultural zeitgeist" that Brat is (or whatever melodramatic arbitrary label is being used to justify the inane over-hyping of what is no more than a very decent dance pop album) but it has oceans more depth, and is infinitely more satisfying.

Finally getting tired of this insipid female pop baby voice I fear. Yeah sure, there's atmospheric parts of this album that makes it differentiate from the debut a little. But for the most part, it's just the same old stuff and my returns are starting to diminish rapidly.

of all the things i'd pick to defend this overproduced Groovy Vibes pop and its nebulous attempts at fantastical world building over, depth is not one of them. brat has as much depth as charli does personality; this never gets out of the half-baked fanfic ballpark
