This is my personal LEAST favorite album by LoG. This album is a solid album; I definitely enjoy it from time to time. However, as was stated earlier, it doesnt have the stan-out songs like the previous two albums. It almost feels too predictable as well. I am a huge prog fan, so maybe that doesn't bother anyone else. Finally, it just feels a little...OVER-produced. It sounds really compressed, which, in my opinion, takes away from the album. I give it a 3.

This band is reforming the way that we all see metal, in my opinion, and this is the strongest album they have put out yet

and yes, it could be seen as reforming just because so many people have heard of this band that they could be considered a gateway into the metal genre

Being a gateway band and changing the paradigm of modern metal are two vastly different things.

Yeah, it isn't anything new. But this is one of the best albums that came out last year, and LoG is a great band.

Lamb Of God have reformed nothing except maybe establish a stereotype for all metal in general in the mainstream media.

thats what i was talking about, i said that it was reforming the way we "see" metal, i wasnt saying they are reforming metal in general or even reforming the genre as we know it, they have just changed the face of metal as people see it

There's a solo in Redneck? Pretty good album, though...

a couple songs on this album are outstanding, which makes me happy because they're repping my city. chris adler's drumming isn't overly challenging, as i can play almost all of it, but his double bass technique is quite interesting and difficult to learn.

also is it just me or are lamb of god beginning to recycle their riffs a bit?
