Alex I’ve been saying that for years. They’ve always had a little bit of prog in their sound.

Nobody and Beautiful Morning are stand-outs on first listen.
What a weird outing. I applaud them for trying something super different, but a lot of these tracks don't flow well. Brooks is probably the best choice for them for drumming after The Rev.

Cosmic is fucking incredible. Definitely among my top 10 of their songs already.

Giving this album below a 3 is just lies. I don't think it's groundbreaking but this album took a lot of talent and time and there's a lot to appreciate.

Nightmare will always have a special place in my heart, but this is the best they've been since.

Yeah, Nightmare was the album that got me into metal so I will always have more of a connection to that album but this album is a lot more fun.

Just finished my first listen through and all I really want to do is listen to it again. Like others have said, it's kind of a mess... but a good one.
Going back 15 years ago, these guys were my favorite band in my younger years. Waking the Fallen and City of Evil are classics to 16 year old me. I really loved Nightmare. The Stage was OK. Hail to the King was awful.
Listening to this new album really brought me back to my teenage years. This album kind of reminded me of what made me so passionate about them so long ago. That first listen through and just thinking, "What the hell am I listening to?"
Catchy, but also progressive. Familiar, but also totally left field. A little grating on the ears, but also a hell of a jam.
I feel like this one will take time to digest. Also, I actually got chills in the second half of Cosmic.

The average went from like 1.7 a couple of days back and eeked up to 3.5 just now. Awesome!

Seems like a potentially good album. The first song was cool but the second song was kind of badass.
