This is wearing thin, very quickly. Shame because it almost felt like the 2nd coming of Think Tank in moments. But it's very forgettable on the whole.

Odd that a reprise of their most revered feature didn't make the cut

Aside from Feel Good Inc all of their de La soul songs have been trash

Is that a separate thought or are you saying that in context of de La gorillaz songs? Cuz that’s not a de La gorillaz song

bonus tracks aren't all that unfortunately. De la Soul track is decently groovy but the other two are all over the place. does at least indicate that the Gorillaz that will just throw out weird tracks with hip-hop artists still exists, if nothing else

giving it a listen and so far not minding it but lacks a lot of the dynamics on dd/pb. upon first impression each song sounds very straight forward and has less variations in style than their older stuff. also my first time listening to something on spotify in years and i thought the commercials was just a skit break on the album lol. i will say the mixing job is pretty good, sounds more developed than humanz

I don't get the hate at all, almost everything here slaps, especially singles

Maybe not on the level of Plastic Beach or Demon Days but the album has its own vibe and I love it

The melodies are enjoyable and its short length helps. I like the disco funk/pop leanings overall.

Yeah I don't get the hate. Sure, there are a few low points (that run from "Baby Queen" to "Tormenta" but the singles bop and the rest is decent at the worst.

That’s true there’s only really 15 low points when you get down to it
