Feel like they peaked hard around 2004-06, maybe 09, and have been pretty hit or miss since. Still a great live act though

The solo in White Christ is the only exceptional part about the song tbh.
After playing this album a lot since release, I have to say Godforsaken and Starless Paths are among my favourite songs of the band. Still not to the heights of Winter's Gate, While We Sleep and The Lay of Autumn but still, they are fantastic.

This is pretty damn good to me. Haven't listened to this band at all since AtWW. Production is muddy as fuck and the drums all blend together, but how many melodic death metal bands really have good production? Guitar melodies are really fun and I love the atmosphere, which are the main two things I ever tune into for this band.
