All of their songs on yt have a comment section except for if a god can bleed which they disabled. I don't think I've seen a song so universally panned like it before. I really hope we find out how the fuck it became a thing. All I really know is the guitarist wrote the lyrics.

I am wondering how long they will keep going tbh. Not because this is a dumpster fire of a record, this will do do well for its target audience:arena festival stuff. I think maybe they are all just...tired of doing it or not meshing creativly anymore and maybe work is gettinf between just being mates. To be fair though Parkway have been tour beasts throughout their entire career.

I can see just wanting to cash in on your success you've accumulated over almost 2 decades and putting out a safe album that reach the masses so you don't have to try as hard as you did before. Kinda like that one dethklok episode where they go back to their roots and they hate doing it and decide they don't have to because they already put in the work to be where they are now. Just sucks the music isn't as good anymore but it's undeniably more popular than their early stuff.

Biggest reason to play it safer with their music, 2020 was an incredibly anxious time for most full time bands that are smaller than only the most prolific and popular. You can't just make music anymore and be successful, you gotta sell out arenas.
