Goofy and tone deaf. What happened with that chick had nothing to do with the gay community and satirizing the event doesn’t give him a pass to drag another marginalized group down. I get that he was trying to prove a point but I think he could have done that without… being a cunt

Auntie Diaries is literally just that Dave Chappelle bit where he pulls a Ben Shapiro “gotcha” on the Comedy Central standards and practices lady

Kendrick approached that event poorly.

The only way to bring it full circle is to get some white girl onstage to rap Auntie Diaries

"Auntie Diaries is literally just that Dave Chappelle bit where he pulls a Ben Shapiro “gotcha” on the Comedy Central standards and practices lady"

A bit different IMO because it seems more like Kendrick is pointing out his own hypocrisy. As mentioned seems similar to the end of The Blacker The Berry...although probably not done as effectively.

I’d like to hear him speak on it cuz if he was pointing out his own hypocrisy I’d feel a little more sympathetic rather than if he was doubling down on his response to that white chick by using the f word as an analog at the 🏳️‍🌈 communities expense

"seems like he’s dead naming his trans relative in auntie diaries as well"

He is. If you read the lyrics, he starts the song off by deadnaming and dropping the f-slur from his perspective. As the song goes on, the deadnaming and improper pronoun use slows and then stops showing his growth and understanding of the community through exposure. The slurs at the end are from the perspective of his trans cousin while poking fun at how poorly he handled the white girl incident. He's not saying these things for no reason. He's illustrating a growth pattern that a lot of people could need help getting to
