I think the only way I could be that bothered by listening to a musician is if they literally actually did something personally bad to me or someone I know. Otherwise I'm just vibing to the music and not really dwelling on the the worst things they've ever done that are publicly known.

Yeah I'm okay with that. As I said before, I'm not really thinking about it when I'm listening to the music. I'm only really reminded of it when people bump this thread talking about it.

Watkins is as low as you can go obviously and he deserves to die in prison but plenty of musicians, actors, directors and artists of all mediums are vile pieces of shit and involved in sexual abuse/pedophilic scandals, if you had some sort of purity test for which ones actually seem like decent human beings you'd be hard pressed to enjoy much, and we only know about what's bled through into the public eye

I get that we've had a lot of recent debate over the last few years regarding the ethics of listening to music by artists with 'questionable' life choices (Brand New, Marilyn Manson, or those accused in the vein of Rammstein, etc)... but are we really opening *this* can of worms?

Of all bands, the band that has a guy on vocals who literally raped children (and attempted to rape a baby, let's not forget) is definitely one that deserves to stay dead and buried.

Fuck this band, and fuck any excuse made to listen to them.
