SOAD is just... not suited for Kells. He always chooses songs to cover that aren't in his range, and I don't understand why. There are some pretty famous songs, including songs that he's stated are influences of his, within his vocal range. He shouldn't have covered Misery Business either because of the chorus

Older Brand New would probably be right up your alley, from there I’d go to some of the 90’s bands, Sunny Day Real Estate etc
Because this, I’m sorry, is just garbage. He’s ripping off much better artists and doing a piss poor job of it.
Hell, I’d take Blink 182 or My Chemical Romance over this and I’m not saying that lightly.

A look back at the early 2000s of pop-punk like the starting line ("best of me") or say anything ("wow i can get sexual too") and it's pretty much the same as what mgk is singing about now right? I don't dislike mgk, I might say I like his rebellious and direct personality, one very cute boy. But if he really wants to release good records that will still be remembered in decades or so then he really needs to at least get his vocal performance right.
