How the hell anyone can consider this album "average", let alone "poor" is beyond me. Stuff like this is clearly well-arranged and executed enough that at the very least there should be some acknowledgement that it just ain't your thing but respect-worthy. Can't stand Maiden but only a fool would think Powerslave is anything less than a 3

This band is hard to rate for me. They combine some splendid melodeath moments with segments that seem to drag a bit and end up being a little boring. So one moment I want to give them a 4'5 and the next a 3'5. They sure sound phenomenal but I think maybe melodeath is just a bit stagnated riff writing wise.

I want to love the new Omnium Gatherum album so much. The best part of that album are the middle tracks. Unfortunately the outliers aren’t that good.

Quoted for truth. New World Shadows is my personal fave, but both albums are solid.
