@Johnny nah she was already a sailor on NFR.
But then again, she was in a vehicle in BTD, UV and HM, and no one felt like she was repeating herself back then.
So who knows... could be she'll be a sailor again! :O

she wants me to swap her in for ldr
i'm trying to explain i no longer have the software to do this
she says your christmas look meshes with the planes poorly, and i am struggling to disagree

^ what "planes" ? -_-

btw interesting thing about Dealer: The only other time ever that LDR uses such style of vocals is in the unreleased track Noir. Could it mean anything? :O

that line is fine and lana would be nothing without romanticised bollocks
the ~issue ig is that her songs are either strong enough to ride that to glory, or they ain't, and when they ain't all that affectation just sounds like bad writing (brooklyn baby), dull indulgent fluff (90% of chemtrails, and let's not start on her whole i'm a poet schtick) or unfortunate self-memeage (bless u, white dress)
so there are a *lot* of times when it feels like ldr is writing for the sake of sustaining that register without really packing anything else, hence the quotation marks effect that robertsona v aptly described a while back in the NFR thread, where everything she says scans as too hollow and performative to invest in the ~scene~ and pathos it's so clearly meant to capture, or something
but
she wouldn't have been able to land such larger than life beats as dealer / thunder / shades of cool / off to the races / her 10 other good songs without this, so ig it was worth it on some level
