Great album. Considering they mention the work and do the work like 100 times on the album the label was left with either work, or not work. And they didn’t want things to not work.

Just an odd sort of thing to push... like a metal band being like "go rake the leaves, do the work", "go to the gym, do the work", "fold the laundry, do the work".

I agree. The way it is done is the weirdest part and the hardest part of the album to embrace. I still really haven't, but there is a lot to like. My biggest issue still is the cleans and backuo vocals not being mixed high enough to a clearly offensive degree.
