I also don’t expect a mouse to ever be bold enough to come up to you and say hello.

Did not have high hopes but I'm pleasantly surprised by this

Honestly I’m digging this. Not as good as WWD but better than Good News and StO. I liked StO ourselves, but it felt like more of a collection of songs than an album. This one actually feels like a fully realized and cohesive album. I’m pleasantly surprised.

Agreed, they try way too hard to sound pink floyd here

This album has a great many problems, but I really don't think "trying too hard to sound like Pink Floyd" is one of them

"I’m not loving this but at least it’s not an Everything Now."

Yeah, I think the worst you can say for this is that it's an experiment that didn't work out, or that it's a confirmation that this band is officially past their prime. I only have everything now rated .5 lower than this but the way it completely abandoned everything that made AF special for D-grade abba-isms and smirking ironic dance-rock makes that 2.0 feel real generous.

I still think about that "hilarious" joke review they uploaded where they predicted critics would like EN more than Reflektor, like they really thought they were taking it on the chin with that one lmao

"but better than Good News"

It's really not even close to as good at all.

There are no songs here I hate just ones I like less

I expected this to be one of my rant 1's with lots of attempts at dad humor, but this blindsided me with its quality
