Bill and Joanna were an item before Andy for what that’s worth. Ex is a big billhead too. Knew about the albini maybe not the o’rourke tho

Yeah truly great. Albini/O’Rourke def did a great job, this stuff sounds amazing and is well mixed even with the business of the arrangements.
You gonna check more O’Rourke Ryus? All his Drag City stuff is heat.

Nice nice. The Visitor is a bit more like Bad Timing, a single-track instrumental album. Less Fahey-esque than BT though.

I fucking love how long these songs are, so enchanting

Yeah I constantly get little melodies from this stuck in my head, mostly from Only Skin. Enchanting is exactly right.

Such a beautifully poetic piece about PTSD, miscarriages, motherhood, and infidelity!

Took a few false starts but I think this is going to be something maybe great
|
| |
Listened to Cosmia, damn this chick's voice is irritating
but otherwise pretty amazing music alright
|
| |
is this the best starting point to get into her music?
|
| |
probably not
if you want a sense of her progression then start with the debut (i personally like going chronologically through most artist's discogs)
if you want her best work and something slightly more accessible despite its gargantuan length, check have one on me
if you want something accessible and short check divers
if you want to dive right into the deep end check this

noted, thanks
