It’ll probably hold up better than Ulcerate did, less overall ratings (presumably).

This is a hard 3.5 after 1 full listen. Mad overhyped but still great

My guess is it ends up like Obliteration - Black Death Horizon, another Gorgutsian avant-death/black bombshell that started way high, dipped, and ended up at 4.1 as a cult classic.

Fuck this sold out fast. Maybe I should ask Avantgarde to sell it as a package deal with Dzo's upcoming repress.

hold on, circling back around

okay scratch Gorgutsian. it's more thrashy and less twisted than I remember. but it was an avant-death/black bombshall and did the thing.

See this is one instance where sound engineering does become an issue for me. I knew my ears didn't fool me when I thought Stare into Death and Be Still sounded brickwalled, and that makes it much less enjoyable than this.

yea I don’t know how features work tbh it was on front page for 1 day, though three other albums were featured after III was, which makes sense, but that eximperituskkqljhdkfndi$je album has been on front page for like 4 or 5 days 🤔

or a staffer called dibs on it and will feature their review when the time comes

It's complex dIsSoNaNt DSO core with lots of UNORTHODOX rhythms and BENDY guitars. Don't question it you will go insane.
