Seems Aloo Gobi and Numbers are the 2 I keep coming back to. Whole album is good though.

Tracks like “Numbers” and “Playing My Piano” disgust me. Poorly written saccharine nonsense coupled with that string section. Yuck.
“All My Favourite Songs” and “Bird With a Broken Wing” are good, but would be so much better with regular instrumentation. Same goes for “Screens” which is also way too short.
Lyrics aren’t great as well and something about a married and wealthy man whinging on about life just doesn’t sit well with me.

When the extent of your complaints amounts to stuff like there not being enough variation in your extremely privileged life or “got too distracted for personal hygiene”, then no, you can’t.

Chameleon eyes would be cool tbh

Wealthy people have less to complain about absolutely but this dudes been a touring musician basically his whole life. Massive lifestyle change that, and music without emotion, wherever it comes from, is the main reason I’ve not been interested in listening to Weezer.

"Lyrics aren’t great as well and something about a married and wealthy man whinging on about life just doesn’t sit well with me"
I'm not much into the lyrics, but I think their approach has always this hipster first world self irony, which make me buy the lyrics. I mean come on, do you think the dude is actually singing "I'm playing my piaaanooo" taking it/him seriously? Maybe it is indeed his refuge, but I could swear they were having a big laugh while writing the song.
Anyway I'm not mad, not as much as with these coward 3.5s (which are probably right tbh). Adding that the band sucks in general, except the debut carved in my heart and some cool tunes here and there.

I have had some friends who are wealthy and they all tell me that, sure not having to worry about money is great, but the isolation that comes with that privilege is fucking madness.
Apparently.
