SAGU PALM gang lfg
kinda in the frame where I forget that everything between Pilgrimage and Sagu exists and trick myself into thinking this is one of her best and....?

her best album and yes it is close but uh
|

what uh no and not it is not what is this devilry
|
| |
i like this but yeah this is my least favorite thing ive heard from her. very pretty though

i look at it less as a diluting of her sound into the chamber folk ensemble than a proliferation within it, which makes it no less Aoba than before, but now with a greater array of voices adding depth and color to her vision

that's a fair assessment of how her *sound* has changed (including the stuff she's done live since), but half these tracks are shrapnel. everything pre-Sagu Palm (excepting Pilgrimage) is pretty superficial by her standards, think she has far further to go with chamber folk

Mahoro and back will always be my fav Ichiko - I dig the chamber folk stuff most of the time, but I just think she had a special take on the singer-songwriter sound that resonates with me more

it's hard to beat stuff like 0 and 0% for me, but i also love that she's expanding her palette and wanting to try out new things. windswept is not my fave, but still one of the prettiest albums I've ever heard

Has this always been known as 'Adan no Kaze' on here, or am I going insane?
I don't remember the 'no kaze' bit, hmm weird

nah people keep wanting to change the name and make things confusing for people I guess
|
| |
it has had three titles: localised (Windswept Adan), transliterated (Adan no Kaze) and original (アダンの風)
and I could care less which it is, as long as it's not some jackass repeat editing it to kanji and kana

Ah yes, I remembered it as Windswept Adan

What is that ambient tag doing and how can we kill it
