Would this album sell me if the last record I truly dug the hell out of was Happiness?

No, go listen to Acceptance Speech 2.0 if you want good Tilian-era.

This album is almost the same as the last but with not as high highs and lower lows if you float my boat...

Album slaps.

Say Hi, Nothing Shameful, and Parody Catharsis are my favorite tracks.

@28Gloom: So its basically on Mothership's level. At least Artificial Selection has "Shelf Life".

Absolutely not, Venin. It is flat out their worst album. Every album before has had redeeming qualities, this is the worst parts of Instant Gratification coupled with the worst parts of Artificial Selection. It's a passable album, not a poor one, but I can safely say that I probably won't return to it.

No, I got that. I was just trying to cement how bad this is. It doesn't really resemble Mothership music-wise.

Eh, Mothership is way, way better than this so, nah.

Despite Kurt era being the best for me I didn't like Shelf Life. Felt it was kinda shoe-horned in the album.

So this will probably wind up dethroning Mothership as my least favorite DGD album?

It's probably a 3.5 song for me but It didn't fit at all on Artificial Selection... Disrupted the little flow the album had going for it.

DBM1 is pretty much tied for dead last, but DBM2 has some moments, Jonny's shittery aside. Jonny was always better in bands like Emarosa and Slaves anyway.
