Nick's vox haven't ever really bugged me. In fact I think his actual *ability* to sing has improved a bit with each record.

Yeah, I don't get the problem with the vocals. This is more tolerable than the singing on Intronaut's last album and I didn't see anyone complaining about that one

Lots of people did actually complain about the vocals on the Intronaut album. But I liked both that and this. In fact they are probably my two favourite albums of the year so far.

The grating issue with the vocals is that they already had it perfect the way it was. Trying to fix something that wasn't broken kinda' thing. The instrumentation and grooves is Elder's forte'. And what they did with the vocals distracts from that.



Regardless, there's still some great music in here.
