also why does Blue Ghost go without mention most of the time, it best captures the whole lucid dreaming theme

it is a toss up between the two albums though.
I still really enjoy They're Not All Beautiful, most straight forward song on this whole album

dunno, it's my favorite after the three I mentioned though, and it best captures the whole lucid dreaming/ethereal concept. It's opening licks are what I first think of when I think of this album also.

that section where they trade off the distorted/chorus guitars and the sax in They Aren't All Beautiful is so awesomeThis Message Edited On 10.12.08

First half of album and Birth Pains for me, though I have an infinite love for all of them. Bath kicked me into a phase 2 years or so ago where I was trying the whole lucid dreaming thing out like hella crazy in a kind of vain experiment to get inspiration to make music like this. It made entire days sublime, as gay as that sounds.

I still don't understand how to initiate a lucid dream, I suck dick at it, but the concept sounds like so much fun.

Atm I actually prefer My Fruit Pyschobells... to the other two, crazy I know. Imo it flows a little better as a whole although Bath and LYBM have way stronger standouts like "Heaven and Weak", "Girl with a Watering Can", "Gleam in Ranks" and "Bizarre Flower/A Violent Mist". Fantastic band.

I won't even start on it because I could go on for hours until I'm just an incessantly blabbering douche instead of just a blabbering douche. It took forever to build up a skill at it and eventually went away when I lost interest. I can still remember on average 2 dreams a nigh as a result of my ld stint when before I could remember none, though, so I consider that part of it all a success. This Message Edited On 10.12.08

DO IT
But I prefer My Fruit Psychobells to Leaving Your Body Map....that album is way too overlooked. If it's production was better, i'd probably like it almost as much as this.

but it seems like such an interesting concept.

I know, but I tried so long and hard at it and yielded little results (though I did achieve a few LDs) that I eventually got lazy. I still attempt every now and then but I always lose patience.

I think that would be a very cool think to experience, i've thought about it a few times. I'm not sure if many other people my age have considered it before though...
Has anyone ever had that feeling when you're lying down in bed, you suddenly feel like you're falling? Is that some kind of out of body experience, or somehow connected to this? fucking confusing

Eh, what's so creepy about a world inside your head where you control everything and it feels more real than real and crushes all creative barriers effortlessly? If I can pull a two-note sequence out of it then I'll be happy.
Back on topic, sax solo in The Blue Ghost is sexy as hell.
