after enough listens, this is fine. on equal ground as everything else they made cept Precumstories, and the vox don’t really bother me cuz this band never had the best vocals, last time they had something decent with that was on Void and that other guitarist moved to Exhumed lol

I gotta be honest man I wasn’t the biggest fan of Valley at first when it came out and for the basic-est of basic bitch critiques - it just doesn’t go hard or riff as good as this. I’d rank it lower than this.

happens to be I’ve been listening to this band literally since Austrolopithecus aired on youtube and I hear on here bits of everything they’ve done since. literally better riffs than most of what’s on Valley. like I said before this band wasn’t known for good vocals so for me it’s whatever. potsy you did make a damn good point on how on Pre/Valley things were more sparse, but I also think Direction was their best since Prehistoricisms 🤷🏻‍♂️

Direction was the album with their best vocals, the screams on that album could cut through steel. The vocals on this one regressed back to what they were before, but the quiet harmonies are still really nice.
