Long as you catch that snare hit in One Hundred Years it's all good

why is this thread now butt-tier pop punk vs. Pornography vs. post-rock lmao. I love dumb af comparisons but this is a stretch

Yes fine that exists, but Pornography has a better snare tone so not the best comparison if you're gonna start this on drums

5.0 classic
Adept Sleepless
American Football American Football (LP3)
As far as I'm concerned, this is the album to beat for my AOTY list this year. Dare I say it's even more of a masterpiece than their debut? Nah, that can't be, I must not have the proper nostalgic backing.

Oh and to whoever said this is "jonas brothers on xanax" LMAO okay, this is definitely JoBros even though it's significantly stronger than every song I've ever heard from them... yeah...
Bleeding Through Declaration
Bullet For My Valentine The Poison
Dayseeker Sleeptalk
Get Scared The Dead Days
Built for Blame, Suck My Wang, Joel's Burning in Hell Someday XP
Periphery Periphery IV: Hail Stan
Sotelo's voice is aural sex, you mean

EDIT: HOLY SHIT THIS KICKS ASS. It's definitely too early to say, but this might be my AOTY. Whatever it'll be at the end, I just know I haven't been this obsessed with a new album in a long time.
Rolo Tomassi Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It
Tides of Man Every Nothing
Too Close to Touch Haven't Been Myself
Trivium The Sin and the Sentence

Which did end up as your AOTY out of LP3 and PIV in the end?

Neither. The Dead Days took the top spot, PIV was #2, and Sleeptalk was #3

AF LP3 dropped down to #8 tbh, there were some very glaring blind spots I missed for a while

Time Will Die is a confetti version of what they did on Grievances with admittedly stronger songwriting but half the bite. Shit slaps live though, so can't complain
