RE7 has some of the best atmosphere and the puzzles are nice, lots of fun bonus game modes and such to extend its lifespan also. REmake is just so good. I mean, fuck tank controls, but that aside, it has the best atmosphere in the series and the Spencer mansion is just wicked cool and fun to explore. Even today it's a gorgeous looking game

Yes, I suppose the controls are what ruins it for me.

Hated the ps one version too when I first played it all those years ago.

'Hmmm ever notice how stuff you don't spend a lot of time with often sounds the same? I do.'

Yeah, that was my original point to Gyro really, if someone is admitting that it isn't a genre they spend a lot of time with, then perhaps it is more likely said person would find much of it 'homogenous' (which is a word he has used to describe this and some of the other DM he's heard - in a general way). My intention wasn't to discredit his opinion by claiming a lack of experience negates all perceived validity, but to explore whether this was possibly a factor in his thinking. I used to find a lot of DM homogenous, in fact sometimes I still do (depending on the artist/release), but there are many worthy exceptions.

butt.

Yeah that's a fair assessment, Demon. Refreshing too, so used to people telling me I just don't 'get' something

Not everyone is patient or helpful enough to want to say what Demon said, and simply saying that you don't get it is a quicker, easier answer lol

tbf though a lot of BM can sound samey. That's what separates the great bands from all the rest though. Like this band, they're able to make their own sound within a sub-style of music.

who are the dumbasses who keep adding these unnecessary tags?

*has one doomy passage* "hmm, this definitely needs the doom metal tag."

This is a feel-good kind of death metal though. I can't help but smile when listening.

Following the second riff, is a guitar solo, YES A BLOOD INCANTATION GUITAR SOLO. Following the speedy solo is a repetition of the intro riff, a very proggy move by Blood Incantation.
