Ye, not too big on it unfortunately. It’s not bad but I think they pull off the more polished tones here, and the…”softer” balance with midwest emo and even occasional alt-country inflections work so, so well imo. Haven’t heard PLASTIC COUGH since before I heard this, though, so perhaps it’s due for a revisit.
