Fun fact. I used to have a youtube channel and trade movies with another youtuber who was cool with Fantano when his channel was still very small and starting up. He used to take track review request and I tried to get him to do Putrid Pile- Gallery of Horrors but it was far too brutal for him and he ignored my request like the weakling he is!

Also I kind of like Dissect Yourself in the grand scheme of the album but I can see why as an introduction it's not the greatest. That being said I never listened to Meta or the one that came before so I don't have much to base it off of. From what I recall Centralia sounded nothing like this

Everything about this album seems like band is going out of its way to aggravate. Even looking at that cover makes me uncomfortable because of the asymmetricalness of it.

good review, opinion is a bit over the top imo, but obviously to each is own. I'm only a couple listens deep, but I enjoy it for what it is. It isn't groundbreaking and I'd much rather listen to Meshuggah for something like this. But it is fun through and through. A couple good songs and the rest blend together
