yet people fucking worship Ronnie, my cousins definetly did and still have some bias for him. they act as if his story is somehow inspirational. but his story is that he's an immature bitch who showed up to a high school to fight a teenager with brass knuckles, while he was 23, and got arrested for attempted murder. then while in prison he wrote the shittiest album of all time. there's not a single redeemable thing about him.

What's funny is that Silent Rob is the reason I discovered AVGN and Nostalgia Critic in the first place. I was looking up the worst video games of all time and that's where I found Action 52... looked the game up on Youtube, found Silent Rob's video on the game, and then AVGN's video came up on my recommended feed. And that was my first AVGN video



Then I watched Silent Rob's video on The Room, and got recommended the NC's video on the same movie. And that's how I discovered him. So at the very least, I have Silent Rob to thank for getting into both Cinemassacre and ThatGuyWithTheGlasses during my highschool years

I honestly don't remember silent rob at all, I remember like armake tho lol.

And pure pwnage forums are what led me to first wave avgn, ironically the fans were bitching about how long it took them to make episodes and they should be more like avgn who at the time had like a weekly release. James has gotten more consistent lately. And for anyone whose a longtime pure pwnage fan::don't bother looking into where it's at cause it'll just annoy you. Jarret(Jeremy) tried rebooting it on his own, opening a patreon and spending like 8 months on a 'ep' that was him walking around the woods. While promoting it he did some twitch streams and melted down getting drunk and going in a political rant about hateful leftists and how great Charlie Kirk was. He's pretty much a Canadian trump supporter/Elon stan (standard 'i'm not republican I'm libertarian,' free thinker) , basically only follows terfs and no one involved with the show fucks with him. He also started his reboot mid divorce soooo idk, out of touch guy trying to make gamer show with no idea of what modern gamers are like. Basically just ripped off fans, divided the base, than disappeared after the backlash.

On the plus though fps Doug seems like a stand up dude and fully sides with the fans, so at least "boom headshot" is untainted. Shoutout to anyone who remembers 'putfile.'
