I think it all comes back to the feelings some people associate with certain ratings. a 2 might seem more reasonable because it seems like some credit or benefit of the doubt is being given, whereas a 1 comes across like something is completely worthless garbage.

I also rate on a scale where 0.5 is complete garbage. Like i said on one of the other pages, my rating for this actually came up a little from 'complete garbage'. A 2 for example would give more credit than what I actually intend (which in the grand scheme of things is actually a 1).
I'm not trying to be a dick here, I just want to talk numbers and such.
