"Right on, I know a lot of people are still a bit sniffy about SOTP because of how different it was to IAH and haven't necessarily revisted it to give it the credit it deserves as a southern gothic hard rock masterpiece.
Whatever about downvotes, I'm right. They simply aren't and have never been a metalcore band. It's also not a slight. I love HIL. I've got everything they ever put out - including the record from when they were The Uriah Omen - multiple pieces of merch and have gone out of my way to see them on the rare occasions they come to the UK. It's a near 20 year love affair. "

I mean they’re right in saying they’ve never been a metalcore band (even though 91205 definitely has some early-MySpacecore elements) but to deny the fact they are core-related at all is egregious.
