Shit is mad trash.

I absolutely don't understand why people like Billie Eilish. She makes some of the most boring, vapid, lifeless shit you can possibly produce, and the only appeal I can even muster thinking of is that she acts and appears like an absolute edgelord. Like there's nothing actually there, she just meanders through substance-less instrumentals with nothing to them and whispers and sighs through lyrical cliche after lyrical cliche.

Also reminder that she is an industry plant and her first song ever was produced and released on Interscope Records and she didn't even write it. She's essentially a product and not an artist, and I guess I'm far too old to be in the target demographic of teenage edgelord anymore to appreciate "pretty high school girl exhales teenage cliches while looking edgy".

Y'all know what this album does well? It captures being a teenager. Like, people are really quick to discount Billie's age given her incredible talent, but this album is almost ABOUT being a teenager and feeling as adult as your parents and idk

Basically LEAVE ME ALONE MUM: the album

It get's old and repetetive super fast. She's got some cool songs and sounds on there, but I always get the feeling that I heard it somewhere else before.

I like how people are throwing around the term Industry Plant on pop musicians and actually implying that it actually like means anything about the music itself. Fuckin lmao.
